We respect your privacy and process your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who is responsible
Bau Bodies is responsible for your personal information. Contact us at baubodies@gmail.com.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, mobile number, chosen PUDO locker, the items you ordered and any notes you add.
- If you opt in: your email address, to tell you about new drops and campaigns.
- When you browse: our server briefly processes your IP address to protect the site against abuse. It isn't stored with your order.
How we use it
- To process, deliver and support your order, and to contact you about it.
- To send marketing emails, only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
- PUDO (The Courier Guy) receives your name, mobile number and locker so they can deliver your parcel and send your collection PIN.
- Our email and website hosting providers, who process it on our behalf.
We never sell your personal information.
Payments
You pay by EFT through your own bank. We never see or store your card or banking login details.
Cookies and your browser
Your shopping bag is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it's still there when you come back. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for five years, as South African tax law requires. Marketing consent is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, and you may object to marketing at any time. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator.
